Brian Surguine is a photographer, writer, designer, and former YECA Project Leader. After receiving his B.S. in Architecture from the University of Michigan, Brian went on to work in marketing while continuing to volunteer at his church in Ann Arbor, MI, as well as participating in the Ecology Book Club at Literati Bookstore. 

Brian is primarily interested in issues of urbanization, ecologically sensitive urban design, waste, and hyper-consumerism. He believes the redemptive arc of our journey as Christians not only involves restoring a climate safe for all Creation, but also sensitivity towards habitat and density in our living and land development practices.

Brian and his wife Marsie live in Portland, OR, where Marsie is currently pursuing her Masters of Architecture at the University of Oregon.
