Jolie is a student at Université Chrétienne Bilingue De Congo (UCBC). She choose to attend UCBC because of the university's distinctive mission.

Jolie says she wants to use her studies "to be able to transform challenges into opportunities." Asked what she wants people in the United States to know about the Democratic Republic of Congo, Jolie said "Congo is a lovely country for everybody. It has many resources. It has people who know how to reflect. They know how to plan for all things that will come in the future."
