Hi, my name is Jon DeYonker and I am currently the Technical Director of New Life Church in Everett Washington, while also in my sophomore year studying Business Administration & Technology at Everett Community College. Living in the Great Northwest we are located in one of the most beautiful places in the world and am inspired by our surroundings. I am passionate about creation care as a form of worship and spiritual discipline. As the Technical Director I have been graced with the opportunity to properly dispose of a lot of equipment that could be potentially harmful to the earth without responsible disposal methods. As a YECA Fellow I hope to be a catalyst to create a stronger desire to develop an healthier disposal habits in the life of our church and further into our community. While studying Business I seek to understand what it takes for a business to be a good “corporate citizen” on a major organizational level. I hope these pursuits culminate into a culture of the church that exemplifies “corporate citizenship” and creation care.

If I find spare time I often find myself writing and recording music, golfing, reading, or hiking. I always enjoy time with the volunteer team I serve with at New Life Church and am looking forward to engaging the community in our local area in creation care and at Everett Community College this year.
