Kaley (Bloomington, IL), a junior biology/pre-med major at Indiana Wesleyan University (Marion, IN), gives her climate testimony to Young Evangelicals for Climate Action.

"I care about climate change as a Christian specifically because I see how environmental degradation is associated with poverty," Kaley says. The specific actions she has taken in her life range from the simple (not using a tray in the cafeteria) to the bold (supporting organizations that combat environmental degradation). She hopes that the church will come to realize that stewardship of creation is "not another section of our lives...it's directly integrated into the gospel."
