Bonnie Smith
King University

My name is Bonnie Smith, I am currently a senior at King University in Bristol Tennessee. This spring I will be graduating with a degree in general biology and a minor in chemistry. I've been interested in the field of conservation biology for very personal reasons. I've lost close family members, both of my grandfathers, to environmental toxins such as asbestos. I would like to help make the world cleaner and safer, not just for people, but for all the living things on earth. This year, at King, I hope to create effective infrastructure changes for more conservation efforts. I find the strength to continue the slow battle against climate change and environmental conservation through my faith. I am just one person, but with my faith in God, I believe that I can inspire others to make the changes we need to protect this beautiful Earth.
