Chelsey Geisz
Wheaton College

fullsizeoutput_1b67.jpegChelsey Geisz is a junior at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, and is currently studying Spanish. Chelsey grew up in Colorado in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and although she has always had a deep appreciation for nature, she never felt strongly about creation care until she stayed at an Airbnb that happened to be on a sustainable farm in Wisconsin. After becoming enchanted by the rhythm and beauty of agrarian life, sustainable agriculture became the gateway into her interest in environmentalism and climate action. Over the last year, Chelsey has devoted a lot of thought to how her campus could become more sustainable, and she's now thrilled to be serving as Wheaton Student Government's first ever Executive Vice President of Campus Sustainability (a position created last year by a former YECA project leader!). Her dream is to develop a sustainable campus garden at Wheaton to teach students the value and importance of creation care.
