Shannon Farmer is a senior at Eastern University in the Greater Philadelphia area. She is studying Environmental Science with a minor in Biology, as well as working part time at the Philadelphia Zoo. Shannon uses her love of wildlife to connect people to the importance of conservation of species and energy in order to protect the environment. She has recently felt God calling her to take action to care for creation, and advocating for those negatively affected by climate change. She's excited to have the support and connections with those in the Y.E.C.A cohort, and is ready for God to unfold His plan for her campus and her life. Shannon enjoys Netflix nights and bookstore runs with friends, as well as working with animals.
